Violetta Takes the Bus

Elisabeth Meyer brings "Violetta tar bussen" to IOGT Godtemplargården in Jättendal, Nordanstig, on Sunday, 4 October 2026 at 16:00. This newly created opera from Operaplattformen SAD GIRLS and Riksteatern merges Verdi's classical melodies with electronic music in a 60-minute performance. Violetta from La Traviata is here a passenger on a bus, singing out her pain and longing as familiar landscapes pass by the window. The show is one of nine Swedish dates on the tour. Admission costs 300 kronor; members pay 250 kronor.
