Matt Ford is a British vocalist from Nuneaton widely considered the UK's leading big band and swing era singer, with a career spanning four decades and over 2,500 concerts. He broadcasts regularly with the BBC Big Band and the John Wilson Orchestra, has appeared in four BBC Proms, and performs as a soloist with orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic, the Halle and the BBC Symphony. His 2022 album 'From Abbey Road' debuted at number one on the iTunes Jazz chart and produced the UK Official Top 40 single 'I Wanna Be Like You'.
Matt Ford's 'Sing, Sing, Swing!' show returned to the New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich, in January 2026.
Ford performed 'The Music of Bond' at the Royal Albert Hall in London with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on 26 November 2025.
Ford's live album 'From Abbey Road', recorded at Abbey Road Studio 2, was released in March 2022 and debuted at number one on the iTunes Jazz chart.
Ford launched 'SingSwingSing', a free singing initiative offering lessons in the big band and swing style to people aged 65 and over.
