About

Moby (Richard Melville Hall, born 1965) is an American electronic musician, producer and DJ whose 1999 album Play - blending electronics with gospel and blues samples - sold over 10 million copies and became one of the best-selling electronic records of all time. Over a career spanning more than three decades he has moved freely between techno, ambient and indie rock, releasing 23 studio albums and selling 20 million records worldwide. He is also a committed animal rights activist and vegan, and has donated tour profits to animal rights organisations.
