Queensrÿche is an American progressive metal band from Bellevue, Washington, formed in 1980. They are best known for their ambitious sound and the 1988 concept album Operation: Mindcrime, widely regarded as a landmark of the genre. Singer Todd La Torre has fronted the band since 2012.
