Sondre Lerche (born 1982 in Bergen, Norway) is a singer-songwriter and musician whose career spans over two decades and eleven studio albums. His debut Faces Down (2002), written and recorded at age 16, drew international attention and won a Norwegian Grammy for Best Newcomer; the 2007 film Dan in Real Life brought him a wider audience through its soundtrack. Lerche moves fluidly between indie pop, jazz and chamber pop, and has toured alongside artists such as Elvis Costello and St. Vincent.
