Musik i Syd: Trio Theros

Trio Theros comprises violinist Anna Agafia, cellist Jonathan Swensen, and pianist Gustav Piekut. Founded in 2018, the trio has developed a strong chamber music collaboration alongside the solo careers of its members.

Anna Agafia has won international competition prizes and performed with orchestras throughout Europe and beyond. Jonathan Swensen is a recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant and first-prize winner of the Naumburg International Cello Competition, performing regularly as a soloist and chamber musician on both sides of the Atlantic. Gustav Piekut is an active concert soloist and recording artist on the international stage.

During the 2025-2026 season, Trio Theros serves as Artist in Residence at Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
