Violetta Takes the Bus

Elisabeth Meyer brings the opera Violetta tar bussen to Krokom on Saturday 26 September at 15:00 at Magneten. This is one of nine Swedish dates on the tour, where Meyer takes audiences on an innovative journey in which Verdi's classical melodies meet contemporary electronic music. Violetta's final journey aboard the bus follows a dying woman who wants to live fully - her pain and longing sung out as familiar places pass beyond the windows. The production weaves together the familiar and the experimental, creating a space where classical opera tradition encounters modern sound design. Tickets cost 300 kronor, 250 kronor for members.
