Niklas Sivelöv (born 1968 in Skellefteå, Sweden) is a Swedish concert pianist, composer and professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. With roots in Karelia and northern Finland, he made his solo debut with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic in 1991 and has since performed at Carnegie Hall, the Leipzig Gewandhaus, the Barbican and Kennedy Center. His discography of over 30 albums spans Bach to his own six symphonies and six piano concertos, with several recordings earning the Diapason d'Or and the Penguin Rosette.
Sivelöv released a live recording of J.S. Bach's complete Well-Tempered Clavier in January 2026.
His 6th Piano Concerto 'Earth Rites', performed with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra under Joshua Weilerstein, was released digitally on 22 August 2025.
Sivelöv released 'Beethoven: Piano Concertos, Vol. 1', which includes the piano version of Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61.
His recording of Beethoven Piano Concertos Nos. 2 & 3 with the Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá, recorded live in October 2023, was released in 2024.
