Tableaux Parisiens is an orchestral suite by Swedish composer Valborg Aulin, written after her studies in Paris in the 1880s. Its four movements paint contrasting pictures of the city - carnival bustle, nocturnal stillness, a waltz-filled ballroom scene, and Paris in festive splendour at the Trocadéro. The work was shaped by impressions of Jules Massenet's music and Hector Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique.
