Season Opening - Brabbins & Prokofiev — Konsertsalen, Malmö

Malmö Symphony Orchestra opens its season at Konsertsalen on Thursday 3 September 2026 at 19.00 with conductor Martyn Brabbins leading the orchestra. The evening begins with Richard Strauss's tone poem Don Juan, followed by the world premiere of Karen Tanaka's Verse of Light - a work written for guest artist Håkan Hardenberger in which the trumpet encounters both analogue and digital sound. The season concludes with Prokofiev's Fifth Symphony. Brabbins appears at Konsertsalen three times during this Swedish tour. Tickets range from 185 to 485 kronor.
