Violetta Takes the Bus

Elisabeth Meyer brings the opera Violetta tar bussen to Nordanstig on Sunday, 4 October 2026 at 16:00 at IOGT Godtemplargården in Jättendal. This is one of nine Swedish dates on a tour spanning the autumn season. Operaplattformen SAD GIRLS and Riksteatern have created a new opera in which Violetta from Verdi's La Traviata is a passenger on a bus. Verdi's classical melodies meet electronic music in this 60-minute performance, where Violetta sings out her pain and longing as familiar places pass by the bus window. Admission costs 250 kronor for members and 300 kronor for others.
