Violetta Takes the Bus

Elisabeth Meyer brings her modern interpretation of Verdi's La Traviata to Järpen kulturhuset in Åre on Wednesday 30 September 2026 at 18:30. The production "Violetta tar bussen" is part of a Swedish tour spanning nine dates. In this opera set on a bus, Violetta is an ordinary passenger who sings of her pain and longing as familiar places pass by the window. Classical melodies blend with electronic music in a one-hour performance created jointly by the opera platform SAD GIRLS and Riksteatern. Admission costs 300 kronor, with members paying 250 kronor.
